Dr. Raj Kamal
Dr. Raj Kamal is currently an Associate Faculty in the field of Engineering, Mathematics and Statistical Methods in universities such as Singapore Institute of Technology - Culinary Institute of America (SIT-CIA) and Management Development Institute of Singapore (MDIS).

He obtained his PhD from Nanyang Technological University (NTU) in 2016 under the prestigious Nanyang President's Graduate Scholarship and has several journal publications in the field of mathematical and computational energy modeling and analysis.
He has also served his post-doctoral research at the Energy Research Institute, NTU , as a Research Scientist, focusing on industrial chemical modeling and designing mechanical applications.
Raj is also an active abstract artist who aims to integrate mathematics, science and visual arts. He strongly believes that arts and sciences can be integrated to produce unique outputs that promote intellectual and emotional growth. Raj was one of the artists, together with fellow students/artists from Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts (NAFA), who exhibited in "Mutatis Mutandis" at the Art house where he focused on experimentation of materials and abstraction. In 2021, Raj also exhibited in a Virtual Abstract art exhibitions (Arts Moda & Fragments), where he experimented with self-developed techniques to explore materials.
Furthermore, Raj is a self-taught electric guitarist and a sound artist who works with other artists to create fusion art. He plays instrumental solos of genres such as Acid/funk Jazz, Fusion, Blues Rock etc. He aims to be a street performer in the near future. He also believes in integrating frequencies, rhythms and mathematics to create forms.
